Too hungry to be afraid

Snow is not very commun in some parts of France, only few days in a year. Our house is one hour from Paris so every time it snows it's a little bit complicated on the roads but a real pleasure for a photographer!
Tough choice today to publish just one photo but I picked this one as a wink to little Greenfinch ( http://365project.org/luxvivens/365/2010-12-05) and to Brian's always gorgeous birds pictures ( http://365project.org/bribuccigrossi/365).

@bribuccigrossi you're welcome Brian I love all your pictures as I told you before. This is a tit as you may know... but Lux's Greenfinch is too cute not to be mentionned here ;-)

Wonderful picture! The soft snow in the background is very pretty. I always wonder who named the Finch's. Your Green Finch appears to be yellow, and our Purple Finch is distinctly red. Crazy!

Helene, I love this. The detail on the bird against the soft background is so effective. I was just looking for a feeder like this today that would hold suet balls that I want to make. Haven't seen one like that. Wonder if it is available in the States!

beautful, snow is not so uncommon around here, but I have to agree, while it may be a pain to drive in, it is great to photograph.
