Wisteria

For some unexplained reason our wisteria doesn't bloom, except these two.

Plants are sometimes weird, aren't they. We have many tulip leaves which have shown up in our little garden but no flowers. Makes you say 'hmmm' and wonder where the flowers went. hahaha Your wisteria is lovely - I guess you have to appreciate what you get. :-)

@suelbiz47 you're so right Sue... do you have rabbits in your garden? they love tulips, otherwise this is really weird... where did they go?

C'est très beau le long du mur! It could have been spotted in an abandoned building

@scatcat tu veux dire que le mur est en mauvais état et a l'air d'une maison abandonnée? ;-)

@parisouailleurs We do have a lot of bunnies around our neighborhood. Maybe that's where the tulips went!

@juhlin the wall is full south but you may be right, there're the neighbourg's huge trees that may stop the sun!

It's how you prune it. After it's finished flowering cut back the growing shoots to 5 buds from the stem. Those buds will produce flowers next year. Then cut it back again in February, or when you prune the vines. Mine has produced a huge amount of flowers this year, but unfortunately we were not here to see it.

Beautiful

how beautiful in white all the wisteria I have even seen is purple. I had a plant for years and years and once got one flower! Sigh....think it has to do with the soil as well as needing to prune it
