love padlocks

they are becoming a problem. there are too many, too heavy and it's now dangerous.
Paris is changing the fences of the bridge, they put sign asking people stopping hanging them. For the 10 minutes I spent on the bridge I saw 4 padlocks' sellers and I don't know how many tourists putting their padlocks on the bridge.

Yes, I heard about the falling bridge railing in Paris on the news some time ago. I have seen love padlocks in many towns and countries, but I have never seen a padlock seller and never anybody putting a padlock on a bridge. But then it is many years since I was in Paris. I guess there is this padlock madness more in Paris than elsewhere.

I have seen this in the news, also! People are starting to do the same thing to a bridge here in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I wonder how long it will be allowed to continue...
