Would that we could draw the shades, protect our families and not to wick into our brains and memory such horror inflicted on innocent people. Anymore, is there anyone who doesn't know of one or more affected individuals even by a degree or two of separation? We all suffer their pain.
@Weezilou this attacks are awfull and I really think we won't win against this people. And the reason why is that we would never be able to understand how someone can be able to blow himself to kill innocent children, people.
From what you write, i remember reading an article after Paris attacks that kill less than 400 people but affects more than a million. It's exactly what you're saying by one or 2 degree of separation, we alll know someone affected. I know one personn who had a cousin in the Bataclan, who escaped but felt so guilty about it, someone who lived near the place and could hear the noises from her home, a friend's kids used to go very often in one restaurant targeted etc. Another exemple the attacks in Brussels. The brother in law of a friend of mine is a surgeon. And I know he worked on the victims that day.
Yes we all suffer their pain.
