A quick post this week, as we've literally just got home following 4 nights away in Edinburgh. It's my wife's (significant) birthday too, so have decided not to spend too long trawling through the many, many shots I've amassed over our mini-holiday! I'll look through the others over the next few days.
Today we had time to kill having handed back the appartment keys, so we visited Edinburgh Zoo (which was very good indeed).
Amongst many of the things I pointed my Minolta 80-200 at was this Lemur - definitely one of my favourite inmates! Their character really stands out, and at Edinburgh you are allowed inside the enclosure with them (under the watchful eye of a couple of the keepers, naturally) which is just superb!
Sorry for the quick post, and thanks for stopping to look.
I went to Edinburgh Zoo last year and was impressed and even managed to get a photo of the back of a panda head. This is beautifully focussed and he really stands out against the green background.
Love the eye, wonderful detail Fav.
