Fish Eye Experimentation

Just what it says on the tin...!

I've recently acquired a 2nd hand fish-eye lens from that well-known online auction site. Unfortunately it arrived damaged, and despite stripping and rebuilding it I cannot un-stick the focussing ring. Given the forgiving nature of an incredibly wide-angled lens, I'm still getting reasonable focus over a wide depth of field, but am limited to approx f5.6 in order to keep things fairly sharp. (The seller has been very reasonable and promised a partial refund)

Having agreed a reasonable reduction in price I'm now off and running with a new adventure to pursue...

Architecture shots, anyone?

Thanks for looking
Stu

This does look great. Hopefully you get a big price reduction!

It does make a cool effect. Sorry to hear about the focussing ring though.

Sometimes limits are fun. Have your ever heard about KEH.com, I've had really good luck and service from on the used lenses that I've bought. This is beautifully done. Fav!
