Damselfly

I finally managed to get a passable image of a damselfly after many weeks of trying. This one was having a rest on an old fallen log. Taken on my iPhone so I'll get never get the sharp image of a proper camera but I'm quite pleased with the result.

I think the photo is razor sharp and the dragonfly fits nicely in contrast to the background. Damselflies are very active and very difficult to photograph.

Great image. The damselfly is gorgeous. His tail seems to have been taped by blue tape. Wish I knew the difference between a dragonfly and a damselfly.
