All gone

I went for lovely walk today for the first time in 6 days and I was surprised at how much had changed in so little time.
A lot of the flowers have turned to seed pods and berries are appearing on many plants.
These empty seed pods caught my eye, last week they were purple thistle flowers.
It feels good to have some new pictures in my album.

The pods reminded me of our visit to Israel and on the spot where, theoretically, Jesus was born is a shape that resembles your photo - so I shall Fav for happy reminder of fabulous holiday.

A lovely shot! It's amazing how things change. I had a walk yesterday and there are already signs of autumn colours in a few of the trees. I'm only just getting used to summer!
