I got to spend the day with Brenna and my mom. This morning we went to The Flower Bed and got our annuals. The bed of this old Chevy truck was filed with flowers.......thought it was photo worthy:)
This afternoon we went to Indianapolis for a graduation celebration. My cousin's daughter, Jamie, graduated from medical school and it was an extra special day. My cousin has inflammatory breast cancer. When she was diagnosed, she told the doctor that Jamie was graduating from medical school the following May and she wanted to live to see her graduate. The doctor told her that wouldn't be possible. Jamie did some research and found her a specialist at the IU Med Center. My cousin isn't cured, but she is doing as well as could be expected. She got to see Jamie graduate, so it was a great day!
I think this IS photo worthy...great find and great composition. fav
How wonderful for your cousin...my thoughts and prayers are with her, glad you all had a happy memorable day.
Beautiful picture - I love the colors. Hope your cousin has many more long and happy days ahead. And I always tell everyone I know with cancer to do some research on Essiac and Rene Caisse. People can say what they want, but when my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer she was only given 3 months to live. She began using Essiac (Flor-Essence - she bought the kind you had to make at home, not the pre-made) and she lived another 4 years. She swore it made her feel better than she'd ever felt. In the end she began smoking again and the cancer did come back - but to go from 3 months to 4 years was a blessing.
oh i love this Paula!! the colours are fantastic and i love the processing....faved! So glad to hear that you cousin got to see her daughter graduate and prove the doctor wrong, hopefully she can continue to prove them wrong! hope you had a lovely mothers day x
This is fabulously photo-worthy! The flowers even match the truck! I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin, but happy she was able to see her daughter graduate.
