This robin was gathering pieces of dried grasses and then off he'd go. Pretty soon, he'd be back again to gather a few more. Nest building no doubt:)
This morning when I got to work, Sherri (my office mate) told me that when she went out to her pond this morning to feed her fish, they were all gone! She has had them for 8 years and she was really sad. Not long after that, she was talking to her daughter, who told her that a heron probably got them. Apparently, they land in people's ponds and eat the fish....easy pickins! Since we don't see that many herons around here, I couldn't help but wonder if the one from my yesterday post may have been the culprit!!!
