Old Police Station

This is the Old Leyland Police Station, the Police left in 1991 and move to a new station on Lancastergate, it is now Coppers Tea Rooms and Function Center
The building is said to be haunted by the first Police inspector Mr Hewitt who died in the building, the Police had the room boarded up for many years, the new owners opened up the room and the ghost is said to walk the room and stairway spooky or what, you may notice the little side street is named after the inspector, may have to take afternoon tea there with my camera:)

What a fantastic building. This would look great as a b&w and then solarized and adjusted on the curves to make the outlines more vivid.

Great find, Peter. I look forward to the solarized version, but this one is pretty cool on its own. I hope you are able to capture the ghost should you venture inside. Probably requires some special sort of filter guess.
