SOOC No1

This image is straight out of my camera after setting it on "Picture Effects- Illustration Mid" it was take in my garden of a pink rose in the pouring rain with not much available light, this was in response to Hazels @quietpurplehaze Poppy image 18th June.

@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel, it was pouring with rain most of the day, so only went into the garden, tried it on a few different flowers but liked this one best, also I rechecked my Sony A7Rii, it does have the picture effects but they were greyed out as I have it set in RAW only, once reset to shot jpeg all becomes available:)

@novab Thank for your comments yes your Nikon has some great effects. turn top mode dial to "effects" then rotating the rear scroll ring to find the different effects the nearest is the "color sketch" produces some amazing results:)

@cfrantz Thank you for finding the time to comment Cynce its appreciated, My Sony A77ii and A7Rii both have a number of picture effects but I tend not to use them at all, just did this to show Hazel @quietpurplehaze what my camera achieved using the same "Picture Effects- Illustration Mid" that she had used with her camera, click on her tag and see Hazels latest effort its most impressive:)
