Humble Flower

Any ideas what it is, in fact its the humble white potatoe flower in my vegetable patch, dug some today and had them for my tea, very tasty.

So pretty. I very rarely eat potatoes but I am having salmon with bush spice potatoes this evening for dinner.

@miata2u Thanks for your comments Peggy I suspect not many see potato's growing, only see them in the vegetable shop or foodhall, we only grow a small amount just for fun:)

@onewing Thanks Babs for your comments, my sister used to boil Bush Spice Potato's mash them and place the fried Salmon stakes on top of the mash, washed down with some glasses of wine it was delicious:)

It's funny because my potatoes didn't have any flowers this year and I don't know why. I think I could have been digging them much earlier if I had realised that they weren't going to flower and so the potatoes are much bigger than I would have liked them. Gorgeous shot - Fav

@rosiekind Thank you so much for your lovely comments Rosie, we have had lots with flowers and only dug those up after they had flowered we have all sorts of sizes on them:)

@quietpurplehaze Thanks for your comments Hazel, the previous owner of this property had a very large vegetable patch we have laid lawn thought we had cleared it all and now have potatoes in the lawn, lol:)
