Acron by pcoulson

Acron

Acorn the fruit of the might English Oak given the Sepia treatment,
The word acorn doesn't come from 'oak' and 'corn', as is popularly supposed, but from the Old English 'aecern', meaning berry or fruit.
“From little acorns mighty oaks do grow” ~ American Proverb

@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel to be honest I thought that when I first added the Sepia tones, looked like they had been carved in wood:)

Super close up. Made me think of Paul Kelly's song about Vincent Lingiari and the Wave Hill Cattle station. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_ndC07C2qw
I am going to be singing all day now.

@onewing Read a short biography about Vincent what an inspirational story and what a man, respect also to Gough Whitlam's goverment, I first visited Australia in 1977 and could not believe how they treated the Aboriginal people at the time see short biography link:) http://ia.anu.edu.au/biography/lingiari-vincent-14178

Fantastic shot Peter. I like your processing choice on this and I agree they kind of look like they would be part of fall decorations found in ones house.
