@rosiekind Thank you for your lovely comments and Fav. Rosie, spent some time moving around trying to get the mountains and wall along the horizontal thirds with the farm on the vertical third, I'm just rubbish at composition try hard but must do better as my school report always said, lol:)
Beautiful landscape great layering , love the rugged mountains in the distance , the green pastureland with the glimpse of the farmhouse and machinery just over the dry stone wall , Beautiful !
@beryl Thank you so much for great comments Beryl, I did give this shot some thought before pressing the button, its did seam to workout the way I hoped:)
@quietpurplehaze Thank you for both your lovely comment and Fav Hazel they are both appreciated, Went up Langdale and the distance views where very misty will go back sometime this week for a clear shot:)
@onewing Thank you Babs the weather is forcast to be dry this week so hopefully there will be more chance to practice, must admit went up a hill overlooking Windermere last night to catch the Sunset that ended up a non event, struggling coming down in the dark I did feel well over the hill, lol:)
@teiko Thank you very much Emilie, we also love the Lake District we rented a cottage in Cockermouth for two years when the children were 6 and 9 years old, then rented a converted barn in Esdale for four years 2001 - 2004, just could not afford to bye a second home there:)

Better to be 'over the wall' than' over the hill'
