It was a quick grab shot I heard the sound of horses behind me spun around and got just one go at it, I had no time to meter read and set up for the shot.
Wonderful capture and I love the sense of movement in the legs and wheels. Fav. When I was a boy, many many years ago, I remember the carriage that carried the priest behind the 4-drawn hearse was very similar to this - my excuses to the bride and groom.
Very occasionally I see a black funeral carriage & horses & it sends a shiver down my spine.
