These are lovely - I've never seen these.

i was surprised to see white ones - i know only the purple.. they are such a very pretty flower..

@jorlam As I said to Hazel we had both white and purple flowers in our garden in Lancashire so Jenny had to get some in this garden, they are so pretty and delicate:)

@terryliv Thanks for your comments Terry, they are not native to the UK but available in most garden centres and seem to thrive over here:)

@pcoulson Sorry Peter, the Snakeshead Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) is a native plant of Britain. :-)

@bella_ss It would appear I got it wrong Sheralee they are native to Britain, still they are pretty:)
