@rosiekind Thank you for your comment Rosie, I don't have to walk far from my place to be surrounded by fields and hills, in saying that I'm still struggling to get out and up our little road because of the snow and ice, lol:)
@gilbertwood Not to good the ambient temperature was -4 degrees C in the day but the high winds lowered the chill factor down to -14 degrees C, a day for staying indoors for sure Denise:)
@onewing Thank you for your comment Babs the only colours on show are the bright yellow snowploughs and gritting machine plus the little red faces and hands of the children playing in the snow, lol:)
@louannwarren Thank you for that Lou Ann, absolutely no chance of flooding at my property, I live on a hillside about 2 miles from the river Calder, the water levels would have to rise to biblical proportions for my place to flood, and even then I could look down on Noah as he was sailing by, lol:)
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel its just I have not been able to get out and enjoy it, hope to clear the road and drive to Sainsbury's 5 miles away today, run out of milk for my tea, OMG:)
@quietpurplehaze I got through to Sainsburys and they had very little milk on sale because the bulk milk tankers are struggling to collect the milk from the farms and deliver to the dairies around Yorkshire, I'm now well stocked up Hazel:)

Snap we ran out of milk too and Ray went to the shop to buy bread, croissants and milk - and forgot the milk!
