Watch out incoming

Shot of a Seagull especially taken at the request of Ron @stray_shooter, an incoming juvenile Seagull about to splash down.
Great capture.

Love it! If I tried to take an action shot like that it would out of focus.

@emma78 Thank you for your comment Emma, I set my camera at 1/500th of a second to freeze the action with f4.5, iso 400, the incoming bird is sharp but the background birds are not quite as sharp as I would have liked:)

Really great capture! I guess Ron wanted to see a seagull, I think the only birds he has in California are flamingos. Smile.

Ha ha, you always get one that wants to spoil the party don't you.

@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann , sounds to me that Ron much prefers Seagulls to squirrels, he lives on the coast so has many more than I have to photograph:)

@onewing Thank you Babs it was the moment of touchdown I was after but when they landed on the water that's all you saw a big splash and no sign of a bird, lol:)

@bella_ss Thank you for your comment Sheralee, they had not quite perfected the soft landing technique and they all ended up wet or in the way:)

@pcoulson oh I know. I was teasing. Lol.

Now we're talking! That's the rule - for every squirrel, one must post one seagull. ;) Great job of freezing the little guy in mid flight. Gotta fav for the effort especially!
