Hidden Renovation

Notice this clever cover over the scaffolding hiding the renovation work on a listed building in Castle Square Lincoln yesterday, from a distance its quite impressive,
I had to look twice at this after reading your narrative and this is a clever way to cover the scaffolding Fav

I love this. What a lovely way to conceal all the construction on the building.

@rosiekind Thank you so much for both your comment and fav Rosie, this is why I stood to one side to take the shot from straight on it was more deceiving:)

This is fabulous what a great idea. They did the same when they renovated City Hall in Newcastle but this one looks much more interesting, especially with the phone box in the picture.

@louannwarren Thank you for your lovely comment and Fav Lou Ann, the first time I came across this type of thing was covering Saint Marks Clock-Tower in the Piazza San Marco (Saint Marks Square) Venice in 2005:)

@onewing Thank you for your interesting comment Babs I've come across a few all over the world, so much better than the usually tarpaulins or green netting:)

It is very clever. (Should not like to live in a house with such a 'bendy' facade!!!!)

@quietpurplehaze Thank you Hazel that's what the building looks like behind the cover but less bendy, its a listed building so don't expect it to look any different externally after completion, the door with the black frame opens for the builders to enter the building:)

How interesting. I had to take a second look to see it was not a real building. It does look a bit wavy on second look. Good idea. Much more pleasing than the scaffolding.
