Getting our place dressed ready to celebrated the 75th anniversary of VE Day, its going to be a lot different to what we had planned with our family before lockdown, more a stay at home street party.
Looks cozy

Yes - it will be a different way to have to mark the occasion. A nice display.

It will be different but like the original VE Day it is going to be a day you won't forget for other reasons.

@dide Thank you Dianna, the flag and bunting was all we had in the house, our children were bring stuff for our family street party, we could not get the proper VE 75 decorations due to COVID 19 restictions (shops closed)

@onewing It was a make do situation Babs, and a two person street party in our back garden with a table full of finger sandwiches and fancy cakes in the sunshine, btw the large flag is upside down only noticed it later, lol:)

@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann the two of us had a back garden street party in the sunshine on a very warm day for this time of year, not at all what we had planned for the 75th VE anniversary:)

@stray_shooter As I have said above Ron it was all we had available, we did our own thing in our garden in the afternoon, at 11:00am the UK had a two minute silence in respect to all the fallen, we went out into our road and stood with all our neighours in silence remaining at a safe distance of two metres:)

@pcoulson Oops I hadn't noticed the flag either. I am sure Churchill will forgive you.
