@onewing Thank you Babs, its Jennys arm my hand and a modelling syringe used for measuring glues, the needle was a solid metal rod only pressed against her arm for effect:)

The unabashed view of the needle entering the body is quite drastic. The reduction to b&w is very good for this topic. That increases the effect.
Did you "vaccinate" with your left hand and took pictures with your right hand? Seems daring to me.

Yikes! That's a good size dose and syringe! Being a Type 1 diabetic, I can't afford to have such fears. Before getting a pump I used to have to do this 4 to 5 times a day. You learn real quick. Awesome shot for the theme!

@jerome Thank you for your comment Jerome, it was all setup not even a surgical syringe and the arm was my wifes my left hand on the syringe right on my camera shutter:)

@stray_shooter Thank you for the interesting comment Ron, I have a niece and sister-in-law that have to self inject medication, I could not image doing that but needs must, OMG. 4 to 5 times a day, great to hear you have a better way to take your medication now:)
