Wanted to take a better image of the moon than I have managed before, had a go this evening,

@_catherine_ Thank you for your comments and Fav Catherine, I had my camera on a tripod with remote shutter release, settings :- f20, 1/80th second, ISO400, exposure compensation at -3 stops, was using a 75-400 mm zoom lens set around 150 mm I think, could try using these as a starting point and play around to suit your camera, best of luck;)

Nice capture Peter.I experimented early when i got the camera and find the moon quite easy .Working on the stars next after the moon disappears.

@peterlgrave Thank you Peter for your comments, my first attempt early this year was not so sharp, as for the Stars we don't get that may clear evening sky's here but will have a go when possible;)

@onewing Thanks Babs, not upside down then, lol, I did test the water direction going around the plug hole on my first visit to Oz in 1962;)

Wow wow wow! I have never really tried to take a proper photo of the moon - it intimidates me! This is super. Big fav.
