Grab Your Bags

This is a typical sign seen in UK Supermarket Car Parks in an effort to reduce the amount of plastic bags used, no need to comment it has been posted for Emilie @teiko to show she is not alone in trying to reduce plastic bag use,

@quietpurplehaze What a surprise they are all over the place around here and also around in Lancashire when we lived there, they started going up about 3 years ago when they brought out the 5 pence charge charged for plastic bags in shops, I can feel a research/ survey project coming up, Thanks for the information may have to amend the statement to read only in parts of the UK, lol:)

I like the fact that the picture shows an adult "grabbing" a child, not a bag :)

I could use this reminder myself. California voted to make plastic bags illegal, beginning yesterday in fact, and I can never remember to take my reusable bags into the store. It does keep your from overshopping though!

@gilbertwood Interestingly that sign is for the parent and child parking spot only Denise, it just happens to have the bag sign on the same pole:)

@stray_shooter I thought California always took the lead on this sort of thing Ron, you could do as we do,keep a bag in the trunk of the car just in case:)
