Oh, you'll LOVE this!!! I got mine to take to Costa Rica a couple years ago, and "the birds on barbed wire" that I posted yesterday were at quite a distance and tiny in the photo, but cropped down, I could even see the bug in the bird's mouth! You're going to have a great time with this!
Wow, bring out the big guns. I think we are all having extra birthdays this year thanks to lockdown. Just think of all the money we have saved in petrol, lack of haircuts, going out socializing, restaurants. No wonder we can buy ourselves lovely presents like this. Have fun
@Weezilou Thank you for both your comment and Fav Louise you have some impressive images with yours hope to start getting some with mine once I'm allowed out and about:)
@teriyakih Thank you for your comment, I've read and seen lots of reviews before parting with my cash, this len gets wounderful comments and images, I will let you know how I get on:)
@stray_shooter I've been contemplating it for some time after reading the reviews I splashed the cash, should give some great results Ron, I'm also thinking of upgrading to the Sony A7Riii later in the year:)
@stray_shooter Unfortunately that is not the case in the UK Ron, the retail price incuding taxes Sony A7RIII is £2,249.00 and the A7RIV is £3,249.00, the small differences with the new mark 3 software update is not worth the extra £1,000.00 to me, the only real advantage is the newer sensor with increased pixel count, faster reading card slots, downside much larger file sizes and the need for faster more expensive SDXC (UHS-I/II compliant ) memory cards, if the price drops by the time I'm ready to buy I will reconsider again:)
