This spring received its name because of the heart-like shape of the crater. Heart Spring has had temperature fluctuations from 150-202°F. This wide range of temperature has allowed microbial growth to form varicolored patterns. Once again the 11mm-24mm fish eye lens was used to capture the full beauty of this landscape.

Wonderful shot of this hot spring! I remember this one because of that distinctive blue color. Isn't Yellowstone the most incredible national park of them all?
The color and temperature of that water is amazing, and I will take your word that it is heart shaped!! I am assuming you can't go diving into that water in these temperatures, right?!!
