Antelope Canyon is a scenic slot canyon on Navajo land just east of Page, Arizona. Rainwater during monsoon season, runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections, picking up speed and sand as it rushes into the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways eroded away, making the corridors deeper and smoothing hard edges in such a way as to form characteristic "flowing" shapes in the rock. A photographers dream land.

I am sitting here on the other side of the world with an Ansel Adams calendar on my desk and as soon as I saw your shot I thought of him. Love your quote from him too.
Absolutely gorgeous, and I'll admit to being a little jealous. I had a choice of going there or to nearby Cathedral Canyon. I loved Cathedral Canyon, but I also wish I went to Antelope. Just stunning! Someday I hope to return to the region.
WE have seen a number of the sites in Utah...but this one we didn't see. Its on my bucket list. I gather it is tricky to photograph..sp very impressed with your wonderful photo of it. fav
