The iconic Leuty Lifeguard Station was built in 1920 and celebrates it's 100th anniversary this year. Of all the Toronto landmarks, nothing has been photographed and loved as much as this building. It is estimated that lifeguards working out the Leuty station have saved more than 6,000 people from drowning over the past 100 years.

Lifeguards are wonderful people who do an amazing job. This is a lovely image. I like the way the orange lights on this side of the hut pick up the orange in the sky.
Peter thank you for this wonderful tour of the lakeshore. I have not had the privileged of being here for either sunrise or sunset, but it is always a wonderful beach to visit.
