Another aspect of Brooklyn's many brownstones and townhouses is the wonderful molding and decor around the doors / windows. Some of the work, like this treasure here, is so creative and detailed. I really love it.

It makes for an interesting and different "look".
Yes, I agree with you, it is a great decor. We were in NY last year and marvelled at some of the buildings while we were walking through this wonderful city.
