St Paul's by peadar

St Paul's

The original wooden structure was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666. Construction of this new, grander, building started in 1675 and was finally completed in 1708. DEsigned by Sir Christopher Wren, it was the first "English" cathedral to be built following the Reformation of the mid-16th century.
Very impressive Peter

The bus really adds balance and scale to the photo and emphasises how dominant St. Pauls is in the area. Great photo of an iconic building Peter.

@kimcrisp Kim, it's amazing; as I said to Jackie (@jackie8), this was really a last minute alternate. You never can tell, can you!
