Pilgrim's Way by peadar

Pilgrim's Way

This is Otford, Kent, a charming village through which runs the Pilgrim's Way - the old route apparently used by Pilgrims in the Middle Ages to walk from Winchester to Canterbury (to the shrine of Thomas Beckett).

There has been some kind of settlement here for at least 3,000 years. These current buildings date from the 17th Century (I believe).

Link to another shot of the same village in my Extras album:

@hobgoblin @nicolecampbell Thanks, both. This is very "picture postcard", but I'm amazed it got to the PP!

John - are we quite sure there weren't chalk boards of some kind in the 17th century?
