Glenda @gq challenged me to "take a series of three or more photos in a sequence and put in a collage."
This is not something I've ever done, so I thought I'd start with something fairly simple to allow me some practise with the technology! As you might imagine, this does look better viewed large on black. All comments very much welcome!
@quietpurplehaze Haha! Thank you, Hazel. No, I haven't ever worked as a photographer anywhere (although if there are any employers out there who need a bassoon-playing photographer chef manager, I'm your man!)
I like your subject for this challenge and especially like the shadow from the orange. i really think this could have two more photos between the ones that you took... a partly peeled orange and one with juice drops or drips on the fruit of a partly eaten orange. great job and yes, it does look pretty nice on black.
different subject here but have you ever taken a b and w photo in colour? in our class my teacher showed me how to do it when we were photographing fruits with studio lights. it was very cool.
@gq Hi, yes, I agree. After I did this I have been thinking about how it could have been better! More photos definitely, and I would change the lighting slightly. Thank you for the challenge - it really did push me into a different area and I have learnt a few things on the way. I'll definitely return to this theme in the future, just need to think of the right stories!
B&W photo in colour??? I'm not entirely sure what you mean but it sounds fascinating.
Unusual but useful combination I would think!
