Blackpool pier

Back to the seafront at Blackpool. The North Pier is the oldest of Blackpool's 3 piers, constructed originally in the second half of the 19th century. It has suffered a series of misfortunes over the years, hit by ships, weather and fires, but recent refurbishment work has restored much of the historic structure and it is now a listed monument.

Looks better when viewed on black.
