Cleveleys...

...lies north of Blackpool on the same shoreline. If you look really carefully here you can see Blackpool Tower bottom left. As I set out to get here it was a brilliantly sunny day and I thought it would be perfect for a seascape type shot. Twenty minutes later on arrival the clouds had swept over and the wind was up.

I can see the tower, can I have sixpence please. We used to go to Blackpool for the day when I was a child and Mum used to say the first one to spot the tower can have sixpence.

My grandmother lived in Bispham so this is a familiar scene from childhood holidays. Good beaches, ferocious wind and trams. thank you for the memory.
