Flood defence

This is the public open space near where we live. It's been a part of our family history for over 30 years, and our kids still remember fondly the picnics, games, walks and adventures associated with it. It is actually a flood meadow defence for the River Cray, which runs along the right of this photo. Beyond the trees to the right is Hall Place, a Manor from the Tudor era.
