A controversial subject. I am genuinely conflicted about it all, heartily fed up of the news coverage, and completely bewildered how anyone can argue that the British Isles are not "part of Europe". Whether we should be part of the political EU is where the controversy starts...
My apologies on behalf of the globe manufacturer; their printing and production processes seem to have chopped a rather large part of Europe out of consideration, and in a line that goes right down the heart of Italy.
Many thanks for all of your recent comments, I really appreciate them all and always respond to direct questions.
From my point of perspective over here it just seems to be a never ending argument with no clear winners. It must be very frustrating to be living in the midst of it all. :)
It's been controversial since the start and I can genuinely see reasons for both sides. I am heartily fed up with politicians seeking to block its implementation though, having taking a democratic vote on the subject. Their reticence has totally undermined faith in British democracy. Personally, I wish they would just get the job done now so we can move on and think about something else! Jarndyce and Jarndyce is the danger here methinks. I like your image - nicely taken.
