Tanyard Lane by peadar

Tanyard Lane

This place used to be a bank, back in the day when banks actually had real branches with real people in them. After going through various owners and retail options, it opened as Tanyard Lane, a very nice bar and kitchen, and very popular. Currently it's closed of course. It took its name from a lane opposite this, which can be dated back to at least 1840 and probably much earlier.

Just 3 days to go now and I will have completed a year of posting a shot every day that has been taken on the day!
Nice reflections.

It looks quite inviting - but what a tough time it must be having at the moment.

It has had an interesting history. I bet it didn't see Covid-19 coming though.
