I wanted to see if I could develop the colour pencil theme just a little. We now know (thanks to @fannyb ) that a group of pencils is a "flack". What would a "flack" look like, I thought?
Was going to say how long did you spend on this! ( altho I spent quite a while on my photo that I'm going to upload a bit later!). Original, creative and fun, well done!
A flack would look just like that! Great colours, lovely shallow dof, bonus shadows. Really creative - for a time-poor photographer ;-). It's a definite fav!

Awesome idea!! I looked at it and thought... why didn't I think of something like this! My brain just does not seem to process this way lol. Great shot and DOF. I learnt something new... flack of pencils!
@peadar - you are very modest Peter or maybe I'm just attention seeking! I was on cloud 9 for a few days after my PP, especially as I had been a bit lacking in inspiration and confidence leading up to it!
@jackie8 Jackie, yes it has been exciting, one thing I hadn't thought about was the pressure afterwards to always post a photo that could get to PP ??!!!
