The fishing life...

The small trawlers you can see here fish off the beach at Aldeburgh, on the east coast in Suffolk. Although small, they are far heavier than the wooden clinker boats that were traditionally used, so the fishermen have to use small tractors to launch and retireve them. I thought it made an interesting shot, especially in black and white.

Many thanks for all of your recent comments and favs; all are very much appreciated.
Lovely shot! Great in B&W. We were in Aldeburgh on Sunday. Great place for walks and a bite to eat!

@helly31 Sunday - so were we - this shot was taken Sunday morning! What a coincidence and a small world.

@peadar isn’t it so! We walked around Thorpeness and back for lunch. It felt almost normal!

Another lovely shot. I've never been to Aldeburgh, but I'm thinking I should add it to my list of places to visit!
