Black rhino

Extras: the final shot from our recent trip to a wildlife park in Kent.

The rhino is now an endangered species as a result of hunting, as we all know. This wildlife park does participate in the international breeding programme for black rhino, and has so far relocated 8 animals to protected reserves in Africa.

The most astonishing thing I found in the Wikipedia entry for black rhino is that they are actually good runners - reaching up to 55 kilometres per hour (34 mph) when they are so motivated!

This really is much better viewed on black, you will pick up more detail.
Blimey, I wouldn't want to be in the way should they get motivated.
