Graham

Extras: another for my Get Pushed challenge this week.

Meet Graham. He's a good friend. Together with my daughter we walked the final stage of the Camino de Santiago together a few years back.

The challenge from Vincent @vincent24 was: "take a portrait of a man or woman (not children), with the subject looking straight into the camera. As an additional challenge (optional), the subject should not be a relative. At best, he/she should a stranger, but a neighbor or colleague would be fine."
@vincent24 Vincent - and another!

Hello Graham :)
September 22nd, 2017
a real family affair, husband wife and daughter. My only comment on this shot is I am not so sure about the shine on his head. It is a bit distracting.

@onewing You're right. Another note to self...

Great shot. How long did it take you to hike the Camino?

@moonmtn Well, the final stage from Sarria is 112km and we did it over 5 days, carrying everything ourselves. It was a very special walk.

@peadar NIce series indeed. As mentionned by Babs, there is here an issue with the lighting that create distracting shine on the top of his head. I find also his look is a bit fleeting on this photo (maybe because of the glasses). that make it hard to connect. The background is a bit disturbing too.

Full of admiration.

@vincent24 Vincent. Good comments. I think I realised most of those things when I was actually taking the shots, but I was starting to feel a little awkward in mucking them about too much!
