A gloriously sunny day here in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. We've been here before, this is the Sowerby Bridge Wharf area. The Rochdale Canal (behind me) meets the Calder & Hebble Navigation (in view here) at the transhipment wharf where goods were shifted from the large Mersey boats to smaller craft capable of navigating the canal into the heart of Yorkshire.
I used to live just up the road from here. By the Wainhouse tower. My husbands family lived in Sowerby Bridge too. Nice to see this shot. Used to frequent the Moorings pub there a lot
