I've been trying to get a hummingbird photo for weeks...they dart in and out so fast, they've been a complete blur or completely gone! Think it's time to move on to something else. I'm heading up the street in a little while for the Greek Festival 5K Road Race ~ as a picture taking spectator, not a participant. Maybe I'll get something post worthy. Happy Saturday ~
Boy thats for sure. Last year i had humming birds stop by and leave, i didnt have a feeder, this year i get a feeder and no birds. It figures. But they are fast.
I love this feeder, too and you know what! I'm glad you went on ahead and posted it bird or no bird cause that is the way photography is...sometimes you get it and some times you don't. I like that the waiting is documented. We are all gonna be thrilled when the hummingbird appears. Greek fest sounds fun! don't forget to eat!!! :P
Doesn't it just make you NUTS!? I'm in the same boat, though I don't think there's been too many hummingbirds in my area lately...That's what I'm telling myself, at least! :D LOVE the feeder...really very pretty. Wishing you the best on your 'hunt'! :D
Peggy your feeder is really lovely and made for a great photo anyway. I would love to see a hummingbird and youre so lucky to be able to attract these in your garden.
Thankyou for your kind comment on my Prairie Dogs photo. I came across the family when I was visiting Wild Britain in Bedford, England. They were in a compound and all the animals there were very happy and most were rescue animals :)
