very cool idea for a shot. Hope you don't get too down about your eyes. I wear glasses occasionally (not as much as I should). Another fashion accessory perhaps?
My optician looked at my notes a few years ago, sighed as if I was inconveniencing her and said, of course, you're past forty - obviously you need varifocals.... I wasn't impressed - and less so when I heard the price of the lenses!! So there - not old at all - just experienced!!
Don't worry, they make some really cool ones now and they are inexpensive from the drug store. Here is a hint, you can buy bifocals that adhere to you favorite sunglasses in the prescription you need. You just put a little water in your glasses and put them in where you want, then dab them with a cloth and they stay.
I feel your pain. I've had to use reading glasses for the last five years. It's frustrating. I have them all over the house, especially in the kitchen. It's so frustrating to pick up a box of pasta and not be able to see how many minutes to boil it. grrr!
I am so with you! I haven't been in a couple of years and it's mostly because I don't have time, but also because I am afraid of hearing the words...you need bifocals! AHHHHHH!!
Reading glasses are way better than needing glasses 24/7 though! I bet you look adorable in them too! You will have to show us a photo of you and your new specs! And you don't even look old enough to have a daughter or a granddaughter so I think you are doing pretty darn good! :)
Yup getting old really sux....I have reading glasses in every room in the house, in my purse, in my car and a magnifying glass at my desk so I feel your pain! :)
Oh goodness , this made me laugh ! love the fact that you made the pic so small !! Having had 20/20 vision forever - I'm not happy about the fact that I have to hold small print at arms length OCCASIONALLY :-)
