This is so clear you can almost feel the roughness of the surface !! Shows up particularly well against that black night sky too !! Ginger Ale is good but not as good as wine !!! Didn't know you couldn't have wine before Chemo ...just when you need it most ,hard luck Peggy !! I feel for you having to go through that ...but all will be well !! x
Peggy - this is gorgeous . Chemo ? i'm really sorry to hear that :( my email is quinn248@verizon.net - if you would like to send me a message that would be great - THX !
@jquinn Thanks, Janet. And thanks for your touching concern. I deleted the chemo reference because I thought it sounded a little too whiny and that's not me. It's a relatively low dose chemo protocol to suppress my immune system (RA treatment). But it's enough to make me feel a bit puny on Mondays. Could be a lot worse. :)
@happypat Thanks, Pat! I agree ~ seems like a little wine would help the medicine go down. :) It's just a precautionary thing as the drugs are a little hard on the liver. But they're out of my system by Tuesday and I ritually toast that fact with a glass of chardonnay. :)
What a beauty - and always present whatever nonsense is going on down here. Shame people don't look up more often and realise that the Universe is too beautiful for violence and destruction. There's not much that a nice moon and a good Chardonnay can't put right!
@judithg Well said, Judith. It was cathartic to just be in the moonlight last night after being barraged by horrific 9/11 images for a good part of the day yesterday.
This is a really good shot. Someone else posted a moon shot and it was just as clear. I have no idea how you both did it but congratulations because I've tried and tried and my moon photos always suck....I've just given up!
When I saw the moon this week I knew you would have a great shot. Another one to add to your collection. We have been in Jackson Hole, Wyoming visiting our son, Josh, so I am once again very far behind. Hoping to catch up on posts and comments by end of week. Hope you are feeling better.
That RA treatment SUX ! hope there's a pedi and a hot stone close by :-)
Virtual hug and a (virtual) copy of Go mag coming your way ;-)
