It's a cold, rainy, and windy day today and I've not set foot outside with (or without) my camera. I saw that tomorrow is International Women's Day, so for lack of a better idea I took a photo of a drawing from my sketchbook in honor of women.
Three good things:
1. We were missed by the ice and sleet that were in the forecast...I can handle rain
2. Sharpened pencils
3. A Zen state of mind when drawing :)
I am so impressed by your talent for sketching. This is lovely and a great idea to honor International Women's Day (which I didn't know about). I can relate....there's nothing to photograph here either. It was cloudy and chilly and blah all day ... going down to 44 tonight. Would love to see more of your sketches.
This is SO beautiful, is this an original drawing or do you sketch from a picture of a person? My daughter Laura does sketchings like but she takes pictures and plots them out some how and makes amazing likenesses. I'll have to show her this, she'll love it! You are a talented lady Miss Peggy! :)
@linnypinny@bluemoon@pinktornado39 Thanks so much for the fav, ladies! It's actually a sketch I did from a photo, Paula. I can't sketch fast enough to do live model portraits. My model would get up and walk out. :)
