Bee Season by peggysirk

Bee Season

This little guy found his way inside the house. He was making a desperate attempt to get back outside through the kitchen window to all the spring blossoms. After a couple of quick photos, I trapped him in a jar and released him to happily go about his business.
I'm back from "Spring Break" and ready to reconnect with 365. I can't tell you how much I've missed all the wonderful people here. Looking forward to catching up with everyone!!

Three good things:
1. Movie night with Harper last night...popcorn and 'Frozen'...a perfect night. :)
2. New AC unit being installed tomorrow...just in time for much warmer temps.
3. Phil Mickelson...playing exceptional golf despite contending with autoimmune health issues. He's on my hero list.
Welcome back! I missed you. I'm also a fan of Phil and also Bubba Watson. What a cool presentation here. Must fav this one for clever originality.

Thanks, Carole! And thanks for the fav! It's good to be back...I was getting a little tired of being lazy. :)

A true capture of the season (in all senses, I guess!) I love how you’ve composed this. I think his kind of bee is sweet.

Hi Peggy, lovely to see you back on 365......we have missed you too!
A cracker of a shot to start you off again......lovely macro together with great lines.
Phil Mickelson not well ?

@happypat Phil was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis in 2010...an autoimmune disease that attacks healthy joints, primarily the hands, feet and back...vital body parts for a professional golfer. It's something he'll have to battle for the rest of his life as there is no cure...yet.

@happypat And thanks, Pat! It's good to be back!

Hurrah - you're back!! I'm always amused by how grumpy bees are when you rescue them.

So nice to see you back Peggy. Was hoping it was just a break and not health issues. As for my excuse of missing in action, well I don't have one. Just busy. When I see your pic of Will celebrating his first birthday, and my Carter is turning 4 months old this week, where does the time go. Nice to see you back.

♥Love your little "rescue bee"...what a great photo! (I'd have done the same...as in..."No animals were injured in the making of this photo..."

FYI, the "school" is Cate in Carpinteria...impressively nice place to get an education! Ashley has just asked me not to broadcast it on my site.
