Aloe Plant

My wife's Aloe plant. Every kitchen should have one!
That is gorgeous, what a super plant. It looks so healthy too! What does she use it for in the kitchen?

@casablanca The wife likes to have it handy for those occasional minor burns one might get while cooking. The sap in the leaves is a very soothing gel for minor burns. One simply cuts off a leaf then squeezes it on to the burn. I've used it myself. It does work. BTW, thank you for stopping by to comment!

What a brilliant thing! I shall have to invest in one, I am always burning myself when cooking!

Aloe plants are very effective on burns, I agree. This is a gorgeous plant - I've never seen an aloe that is quite so big and lush. Wonderful photograph with beautiful lighting!

We have a couple of older aloe plants but nothing as beautiful as this one. Excellently photographed also!
