Lest we forget........................

In commemoration of Anzac Day. This is an old photo (and not a particularly good one) of my friend John. He served on the army during WW2 and had some incredible stories to tell about his experiences during that time. He was an incredible story teller and would have you laughing like drains one minute and then on the edge of your seat the next. He was awarded a military cross for bravery during the war but no-one knew that until after he died last year aged ninety one. His birthday happened to have been today . I miss him greatly
