The northern lights are one of the most beautiful spectacles of nature.

In the northern hemisphere is known as aurora borealis, and in the southern hemisphere and aurora australis, named after Aurora, the Roman goddess of dawn, and Boreas the Greek word, which means north in Europe because it commonly appears in the horizon with a reddish hue, as if the sun emerged from unusual direction.
Thus, when viewed in the middle of the road which had to do is get out of this and stop in the middle of the field in Iceland to see them in conditions.
The photo does not carry any retouching or color lights, looks as it did with the mobile phone (Nokia 808 Pureview). The only retouching is to add the signature, and remove noise with Noise Ninja, to see the original (and see how little noise is still 2.7 seconds of exposure) go here =>

Las auroras boreales son uno de los espectáculos más bellos de la naturaleza.
es un fenómeno en forma de brillo o luminiscencia que aparece en el cielo nocturno, actualmente en zonas polares, aunque puede aparecer en otras partes del mundo por cortos períodos de tiempo. En el hemisferio norte se conoce como aurora boreal, y en el hemisferio sur como aurora austral, cuyo nombre proviene de Aurora, la diosa romana del amanecer, y de la palabra griega Bóreas, que significa norte; debido a que en Europa comúnmente aparece en el horizonte con un tono rojizo, como si el sol emergiera de una dirección inusual.
Por ello, al verlas en mitad de la carretera lo que tocaba hacer es salirse de esta y parar en mitad del campo en Islandia para verlas en condiciones.
La foto no lleva retoque alguno de luces o colores, la publico tal cual la hice con el móvil (Nokia 808 Pureview). El único retoque es añadir la firma, y eliminar ruido con Noise Ninja, para ver la original (y ver el poco ruido que tiene siendo 2,7segundos de exposición) entrar aquí =>
